Panacea Financial has announced a new partnership with the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), providing the ASDA’s 23,000 members with certain benefits such as personal loans as well as checking & savings accounts. These are specifically catered toward dental students as they transition into their new careers, according to a press release from Panacea Financial.

Panacea Financial, which was formed by doctors to address the specific financial needs of the profession, wants to assist these students on their journeys, per president and co-founder Michael Jenkins, MD, MEd.

“This partnership with ASDA will help support dentists-in-training across the country with access to concierge-level banking services during a pivotal and sometimes stressful time in their career,” Dr Jenkins said in the press release. “As doctors ourselves, Panacea Financial has a deep understanding of the needs of doctors-in-training and we are looking forward to helping ASDA members be successful in their training and into their practice.”

Panacea reportedly has a plethora of services to assist during this time, including the previously mentioned bank accounts, as well as personal loans. These services span from the time of school to residency all the way into practice, per the press release. President at ASDA, Sam Setru, expressed excitement at this partnership in the press release.

“ASDA protects and advances the rights, interest, and welfare of dental students, and their unique financial needs are no exception,” Setru said in the press release. “We have always provided dental students with a wealth of resources that they’ll need throughout their career journey. Panacea Financial joins us in our quest by bringing valuable financial services and resources to dental students across the country.”
